Bringing back The Old School Cypher!!!

Watch this Video to understand the real talent I bring.
Any rapper can upload a freestyle off a webcam over the Exhibit A instrumental. Any guitarist can upload a cover song to YouTube or Facebook.  But when do you see a Bass player a Rapper/Beat Boxer and other musicians have fun kick it

This lets people know the diverse style i bring from CT girls to 10 foot fence ( which was done with a rock band "Cavadas"). I from "Smile like a Donut" a real hip hop song i made, To "Letters" a slow song. I can bring what the people want and i love trying the new.

So starting next month me and Jay On The Sax are going to bring a real Jam session for every artist in CT. We are naming it the "5 Dollar Jam Session" 5 dollars to get in and watch or 5 Dollars to play or join the biggest cypher ever. From Jazz bands, Acoustics, Drummers, Pianist, Bass players, Emcee's, singers, Artist, painters, photographers, Journalists, Dj's, Graffiti writers, bloggers, B-Boys, BeerPong players, booking agency's, record labels even clothing lines. By the way there will be a camera crew of professionals filming this event so it looks good for your talent.

WE WANT TO SEE CT'S TALENT IN ONE ROOM. Email me at JittaOnTheTrack@Gmail.com for more information.

The Man Behind "The Un-Edjucated Revolution" NICK PERRY

The Man

Nick is from my home town in FL, when i was a freshman he was a Junior. He started a clothing line which took over the skate scene. I grew up in that scene from late nights at Flagler Ave skating and sweating my ass off on th beach. To hitting the skate park in The Grid. I was decent but never went any where so i decided to longboard....but nicks creativity helped me make a masterpiece. I thank him for it and there is more to come.

The Next EffeCT 2 begins!!!!!!!!!!!

When i was a Sophomore in high school the first year i moved back to CT from FL i dropped a mixtape.
It was called "The Next EffeCT". There was only one beat made by me on the CD and there was only hard copys so if you have a copy of it your are lucky because even i dont have a copy hahha. Anyways this was before i met Bill Jones and others. Just me Chef and D Bakes with some jacked Soundclick beats which i regret doing because it shows no originality. Im finally making a sequel to the mixtape and the process starts now m going to blog about it untill it finished. The first thing is gathering up beats and samples so for the fans( if you want me to sample something or you personally know a producer or are a producer send it to my email JittaOnTheTrackBeats@gmail.com ) .This LP is going to be hosted by a big DJ which i cant name at the time but everyone knows him. So if you want to be on the CD or have your creative in put jump on it fast because its going to be BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

J DILLA

J DILLA (1974-2006)

My J Dilla Tributes

Next month is the kings death day..I celebrate death due to a new beginning. For those who dont know J-Dilla is my inspiration for what i do. He was a producer from Detroit and made a new sound that the world couldn't believe. He is your favorite Producers favorite Producer. I have done tributes for him in the past such as "Smile Like a Donut" which is off my last ep "The Un-Edjucated Project" i sampled a record he sampled and flipped it in my own way. In the last couple of weeks me and D Bakes did a tribute song for him over "A World Full of Sadness" which was redone by the Roots for a tribute. J Dilla passed away from loopist disease in 2006 and his music still lives on today. CHECK HIM OUT(http://www.stonesthrow.com/jdilla)

Art Class:Jitta On The Track Steez & Art

I seen many people bitting my steez.. so i might as well post my favorite brands and sites i shop on.EVERYONE KNOWS i rock lumberjack well theres more to it. I rock clothes that have meaning and there is allot behind each brand i rock. So lets start with my Favorite brand of all time ive been rocking this since my freshmen year in High School. KNOW WHAT YOU ROCK

OBEY

History:

The OBEY sticker campaign can be explained as an experiment in Phenomenology. Heidegger describes Phenomenology as “the process of letting things manifest themselves.” Phenomenology attempts to enable people to see clearly something that is right before their eyes but obscured; things that are so taken for granted that they are muted by abstract observation.

The FIRST AIM OF PHENOMENOLOGY is to reawaken a sense of wonder about one’s environment. The OBEY sticker attempts to stimulate curiosity and bring people to question both the sticker and their relationship with their surroundings. Because people are not used to seeing advertisements or propaganda for which the product or motive is not obvious, frequent and novel encounters with the sticker provoke thought and possible frustration, nevertheless revitalizing the viewer’s perception and attention to detail. The sticker has no meaning but exists only to cause people to react, to contemplate and search for meaning in the sticker. Because OBEY has no actual meaning, the various reactions and interpretations of those who view it reflect their personality and the nature of their sensibilities.

Many people who are familiar with the sticker find the image itself amusing, recognizing it as nonsensical, and are able to derive straightforward visual pleasure without burdening themselves with an explanation. The PARANOID OR CONSERVATIVE VIEWER however may be confused by the sticker’s persistent presence and condemn it as an underground cult with subversive intentions. Many stickers have been peeled down by people who were annoyed by them, considering them an eye sore and an act of petty vandalism, which is ironic considering the number of commercial graphic images everyone in American society is assaulted with daily.

Another phenomenon the sticker has brought to light is the trendy and CONSPICUOUSLY CONSUMPTIVE nature of many members of society. For those who have been surrounded by the sticker, its familiarity and cultural resonance is comforting and owning a sticker provides a souvenir or keepsake, a memento. People have often demanded the sticker merely because they have seen it everywhere and possessing a sticker provides a sense of belonging. The Giant sticker seems mostly to be embraced by those who are (or at least want to seem to be) rebellious. Even though these people may not know the meaning of the sticker, they enjoy its slightly disruptive underground quality and wish to contribute to the furthering of its humorous and absurd presence which seems to somehow be antiestablishment/societal convention. Giant stickers are both embraced and rejected, the reason behind which, upon examination reflects the psyche of the viewer. Whether the reaction be positive or negative, the stickers existence is worthy as long as it causes people to consider the details and meanings of their surroundings. In the name of fun and observation.

Shepard Fairey, 1990
http://obeygiant.com/about

That was written off the official site..(above)

I love art and graffiti i also promote peace and love. Shepard Fairy is a talented artist in todays culture of Graffiti, Pop Art and Fashion. Some say he sold out after he started selling his clothes to retail stores.
My personal view on it is the opposite in order to spread the word you have to emerge from the underground so others can see what you do best.

Another graffiti artist i admire is BANKSY-http://www.banksy.co.uk/

I found out about obey in 9th grade from this website which i shop on till this day.

Another Art/Clothing brand i like but only but Art from is "KidRobot"

History:

Founded in 2002 by designer Paul Budnitz, Kidrobot is the world's premier creator of limited edition art toys and apparel. Kidrobot creates toys, apparel, accessories, and other products in collaboration with many of the world's most talented artists and designers.

The products sold at Kidrobot are the centerpieces of a global movement that exemplifies the cutting edge of both pop art and mass culture. Many Kidrobot toys, such as Dunny, MUNNY, and Frank Kozik's Labbits and Mongers, attract huge followings. Artists that work with Kidrobot have gained celebrity status-these include USA artists Frank Kozik, Tim Biskup, Huck Gee, Joe Ledbetter, Tristan Eaton, Paul Budnitz, and Tara McPherson; the German design collective eBoy; Japan's Devilrobots & Mad Barbarians; French street artists Tilt & Mist; the UK's TADO and ilovedust; Australia's Nathan Jurevicius; Argentina's DOMA; and many, many others.

Kidrobot also regularly collaborates with many of the world's top brands to create unique limited editions products. Past collaborations include Marc Jacobs, Visionaire Magazine, Barneys New York, The Standard Hotels, Playboy, Burton, Nike, Lacoste, Nooka, Matt Groening & more.

A blend of sculpture and popular art, many of Kidrobot's exclusive toys are extremely rare and collectible. Artists often create a series of only a few hundred to a few thousand pieces, so once a toy is sold out, it's sold out forever. Kidrobot toys retail anywhere from $5 to $25,000, and many appreciate in value over time.

The article above is from the official site:http://www.kidrobot.com/AboutUs.html

I personally am more a fan of the Art and Toys they make. Most of the clothing is too flashy and vivid for me but they do have some dope hats.

GoodWood:

I BET YOU ARE WONDERING WHY I ROCK A WOODEN JESUS PIECE.
My sophomore year i wanted to start rocking a chain but i dont like jewelry due to all the people who died over diamonds. So i decided to rock wood. When i grew up down south my dawg Buckweat Bill and his music group HHP started a trend that i always wanted to embrace. I wanted to do it with out bitting so i finally came across the most amazing website ever!!!

Its funny how back when i found this site it was just a underground brand and within a year they grew to a big company. GoodWood was started by a women which i respect alot.
She goes by the name of:
Kerri

Background:
Kerri started her formal art training at the High School of Art & Design at the age of 14. After High School she went on to study Illustration and Graphic Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. While attending college, she worked various retail jobs in the Soho area gaining knowledge of the fashion industry and surrounding atmosphere. She has always called NYC her home and spent most of her teenage years hanging around Downtown Manhattan.

GoodWood:
Kerri came up with the original concept of GoodWood while working at a skateshop in NYC. All of the original GW designs were made in her bedroom and completely hand carved. Kerri quickly picked up wood sculpting due to her creativity and the artistic skills she achieved from drawing, painting and designing . Kerri and the Team will constantly continue to push the creativity and innovation of GoodWoodNYC product designs and lifestyle.

I ROCK REAL GOODWOOD NOT THE ONES AT THE MALL FOR 5 DOLLARS.
"ITS GOODWOOD NOT HOODWOOD"-Bill Jones

Last But Not Least
